Video/Action for Goldenrod

[The video feed is activated during the tremor. Apparently, Ib's gear was on the table and fell off, hitting the correct button. She can be seen cowering under the table, shaking, even though the tremor is short and seems to be over shortly after the feed clicks on.]

N-No! No more! I can't t-take any more earthquakes! Please! Someone! J-Just make it stop!

[Ib's Pokemon are close, trying to calm her down, but she's not having any of it.]

[ Oh no. Flashbacks to when he was a little kid. Earthquakes were a thing that terrified him too. ]

Ib, it's okay. They'll be over soon.

[ Ah man, she might not be able to hear him... so he'll raise his voice a bit more. ]

Ib? Can you hear me? It's Yukio. Calm down. It's okay. Your pokemon are there, aren't they?

[Ib's too busy sobbing to pay attention. However, some of her Pokemon hear Yukio and are looking around for him.]

Over here. Where her pokegear is.

[ He raises his voice a bit more in hopes that one of them might hear him but almost as if in a bout of "Here, trainer, let me.", his Chansey decides to settle herself down by him and his pokegear. ]

Airi? What's the ma--

[ Maybe it's the fact his Chansey's always been a maternal thing... maybe it's a Chansey thing too. But either way, she starts to sing.

Perhaps it's an attempt to calm Ib down or to draw more attention to where their voice was coming from. Either way, Yukio decides to take a step back and allow it. ]

[Baker nudges Ib gently when the singing starts, and Lief uses a vine to pull the gear closer.]

Is that.....?

[ He stays silent, finding that Airi's singing seems to be doing good with either calming Ib down or getting their attention. Maybe both. There's obvious relief though, sighing as he sinks down to sit beside his Chansey as she continues to sing. Better let the pokemon's song speak for itself rather than talking over it.

Hopefully she doesn't end up putting them all to sleep. It's a pretty song though, having the same tone as a lullaby. ]

[She hiccups.] It sounds.....nice.....

[ Airi finishes her song soon enough and she looks rather pleased for it, too. So she'll just settle next to her trainer. ]

Chansey!

[ Yukio meanwhile has remembered how to breathe. ]

I hope her song helped calm you down. Are you feeling a little better, at least?

That's a relief. I know earthquakes can be scary. They used to make me cry a lot when I was a kid.

[ Geez he was such a crybaby too. ]

Stay indoors with your pokemon, okay? I'm sure it'll be over soon.

O-Okay, M-Mister Yukio...

[ There's a pause though. ]

I... don't think you'd heard about what could be causing them, would you?

N-No....is it another Pokemon...?

I was hoping someone would find out. Maybe we'll hear something about it on the network soon.

[Sniffle.] Okay....
