Video/Action for Goldenrod

I've been wondering....

Is it hard to cook things? I...know how to make things like sandwiches, and I can crack eggs.....um....that's...about it. But to cook things you just have to...mix them together and heat them, right? I don't know if I want to touch uncooked meat, though...

Oh, I should ask too, how do you do laundry?

[Young girl in need of cooking help? Carlos is happy to assist!] Cooking is fun! It's all about chemistry really. Mixing things together and heating them up are certainly part of it, sometimes. What would you like to know how to make?

As for laundry, you can do it by hand, but it will be much easier to find a laundry machine.

Ummm...I don't really know either of those things, but if you ever figure it out I'd like to know, too.

Usually you follow a recipe, if it's something you've never cooked before.

That partially depends on what you want to cook, and how far you're willing to go to make it. Boiling some premade pasta and adding store-bought sauce is easier than preparing either from scratch.

What do you mean?

Looks like you have a few people willing to tell you how to cook, so I guess I could tell you about doing laundry.

It's easier with a machine, but I know how to hand-wash.

I can't say I've made cakes myself, but aren't the eggs usually just mixed into the rest of it?

[Banjou nods.]

It's pretty easy when you can reach all of the buttons on the machine. But if you can't, hand washing is only a problem in winter.

Ib, why are you asking about these things? [ Has she been alone all this time? Saber thought she had been with a caretaker, but things may have changed.

It isn't good being away from Goldenrod.

I could show you some simple meals. There are also books on the subject. Doing laundry depends on whether or not you have a machine for it.

...Ib, are you living on your own?

Never at all? How about with your parents? Did you help writing down their shopping list before?

I can't say I'm an expert on it, myself, but from what I've seen I've always thought that was the case.

In that case, you should start by figuring out what you want to eat, and what you need to prepare it.

Curry would be good! It'll be simple to make too. Of course, you have a lot of options with curry as to what ingredients you use.

Oh! Well, I could help with that. Usually, you put money in, however much is required. Then, you put your clothes inside, and most people put colors and whites in different machines. Then, you choose the temperature of the water you want. Mostly, I just use cold water, since it works for both colors and whites, and it's eco friendly! And of course, you have to put laundry detergent into your machines, which is basically like soap for your clothes. Then once you've paid and put in all your settings, you push start, and that's it! Once that's all done you can move your clothes to the dryer, which is even easier. You just pick how hot you want the air to be, move your clothes over, and pay for it. It's not so hard. Of course, I haven't used one in this world, yet, so things could be a little different, but that's the jist of it!

[He takes a deep breath. He really needs to stop rambling so much.] Did you get all that?
