It's so cute! And squishy! B-But, my Pokedex says that um, Ditto are supposed to be purple? Why is mine blue, then? Does that mean it's extra special?

I am not familiar with the breeding of woofbeasts, though I suspect you are approaching the correct idea.

Mutations are more often the result of randomness in the genetic code than not. I believe that animal breeding involves a more selective shepherding of the bloodlines involved.
