O-Oh-! That's right....my....friend from my own world is here now. Her name is Mary. I just want to say thank you to everyone who told me not to give up, and not to keep being sad. Now that Mary's here, we might even start moving to different cities.

I'm excited to see what other cities and towns are like. Oh! Is there an amusement park anywhere? That would be a really fun thing to do!

It was Killua and I--my friends, Kurapika and Leorio, too! We all met because we wanted to become Hunters, and that was an adventure on its own.

[red_roses]

Hunters? So...you hunt animals?

[venturesomely]

[ he shakes his head ] We can hunt all sorts of things, but hunters get along really well with animals.

[red_roses]

Oh, that's nice!

I think you could be a good hunter, too!

There's a big exam that you take to become one--and that's how I met a lot of my friends. ... It was dangerous, challenging, and exciting. There was a lot that happened.

But how can a test be dangerous?

[venturesomely]

Mm, well... During the second part of it, there were all sorts of big animals in a swamp we had to cross. [ He doesn't seem bothered by it at all ] It was really hard to see anything. In another part of it, there was a small tournament.

D-Did they eat people?

[venturesomely]

Mm, I saw a few people get eaten.

[GASP.] S-Scary!

[ he pauses before offering a small, reassuring smile ] But, even if some bad things happened, it was fun.

It doesn't sound very fun....

There were other types of tests, too. ... Like when we had to try to figure out how to make sushi.

I made sushi with my mother once!
