Video/Action for Goldenrod area

[A rather...bedraggled Ib appears on the feed today. Flower and Lief the Bunneary and Chikorita look equally dirty and tired. Razzle the Eevee is having none of that and is curled up.]

I was w-wondering if anyone could help me...

I've been trying to catch a Ditto- they're very good for breeding Pokemon. B-But they keep beating us! Poor Flower and Lief just can't keep up with the transformations, and Razzle won't help at all....

[Now, she looks like she's going to start crying.]

The last one jumped on my face and made me run into a tree and fall down in the dirt! [Here comes the tears.] I didn't know it was going to be so hard...!

[Crocker stares, this is so so awkward and he's not sure what he's suppose to do with those tears that look like they're going to come. Usually, that puts joy in him but with her...]

The last one sounded like it was friendly?

[Oh noes! Crocker continues to look nervous with the face she's making. What does he do? What does he do?! Or rather how does he make this better?]

How do you know?

[Nervous. Nervous so nervous!]

Well, have any of the - POKEMON - you've captured actually been happy about that?

That does sound pretty nasty. If I was still near Goldenrod, I'd offer to give you a hand, but...

[To think he's finally moved on, too.]

Do you have a way to paralyze them or put them to sleep?

Too bad; that would have been convenient. Maybe you could team up with a local wild Pokémon? If that Ditto was that mean to you, I bet it's mean with others, too.

I can understand that. Is there a place around town where you could train a little, to get the levels necessary to gain the advantage over the route Pokémon?

Did you try telling the ditto to stop being such a jerk?

[Beating you in a battle is one thing, but doing that to a trainer is just mean.]

H-hey! No need to cry! You just need to outsmart it!

[personal profile] paopuprincess 2014-05-21 06:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah! Dittos become the type of the pokemon they copy. You just gotta hit 'em with a move they're weak against!

It's hard because you aren't ready fer it. Cryin's not gonna help, but I'll tell ya what will.

Let's start with Razzle over there. It sounds like...is it a he or a she? Strewth, what sorta name is that? Kids these days. Anyway, Razzle's steppin' a toe outta line. You gotta show Razzle who's in charge or else Razzle'll keep disrespectin' ya. Give'em a good, firm talkin' to an' make sure to punish Razzle the next time she or he misbehaves. That'll learn'em that you won't tolerate any nonsense. It doesn't have to be anythin' harsh; somethin' as simple as takin' away a favourite toy when they start actin' up, that could work. Most important thing though is that you establish yourself as the trainer that they've got to listen to.

As fer your other two, they could stand to put a few levels on'em, toughen' them up a little. Those purple rats are pretty easy to take down. Some o'them birds are a bit more of a challenge, but still manageable. Keep tacklin' the easy ones, an' once you're landing hits that knock'em out fast, you move on to the more challengin' creatures. It might take awhile but so long as you keep at it and don't give up, you'll get there.

Then ya don't got much of a choice, do you?

[There's a bite of impatience right there. He...should probably be a bit nicer since she's a little girl though. Sniper sighs and softens his tone slightly.]

S'there anyone with you who can help? A friend, or yer mum and dad?

Ib, there is a trick to this. All you need to remember is tat it will transform into the same pokémon you use. Meaning if you pokémon has an attack that it's normally weak again you have a better chance of beating.

[He says gently, since he couldn't be there he'll help as best he can.]</>

A good plan is what you need, and make sure to care a bat in case one of them tries to get friendly with your face again.

And you need a ditto to help with that.
